As the Vice President of Human Resources (HR), Michael Heller is responsible for strategic and operational leadership of HR practices, policies, and programs that align people operations with organizational goals. He partners with business leaders to provide solutions-oriented insight and guidance that drives effectiveness, continuous improvement, client satisfaction, and mission success.
Michael’s career has been built on over 20 years of experience in strategic human resources, talent management and technology consulting. As an HR executive at Washington Consulting, Digital Management and Deltek, Michael led teams to develop innovative human capital management programs and initiatives. Previously, Michael held a variety of positions at American Management Systems and Booz Allen Hamilton where he executed on talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, DEI&B, strategic HR partnership and philanthropy strategies. Michael was the Founder & CEO of iRevü, a micro-feedback performance management solution that helps organizations save money, improve productivity and protect the organization by providing near-immediate, documented performance feedback to employees.
Passionate about giving back, Michael serves the community as an executive board member of NLCS, a DC based assisted living organization and the Human Resources Leadership Forum. He has a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Georgetown University and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
Michael resides in Gaithersburg, MD with his wife and daughter.
As Chief Financial Officer, Anne-Marie will oversee Xcelerate’s financial operations and spearhead financial strategies to optimize performance and compliance. With a proven track record of driving financial excellence, implementing robust financial systems, and achieving sustainable growth, Annie-Marie will enhance Xcelerate’s financial capabilities and contribute to its long-term success in the federal contracting industry.
Anne-Marie served as the CFO of Celerity, a global business and technology consultancy, with their North American headquarters in the Washington DC area. As CFO she partnered with the CEO to align business strategy to operations, as well as lead functional units in driving growth across the business. Anne-Marie managed global relationships with parent company executives as well as led the integration efforts post-acquisition.
Anne-Marie brings 20 years of experience in the field of Finance and Accounting and brings a unique perspective to the CFO role. Having begun her career at Arthur Anderson and EY, Anne-Marie is well-versed in finance and accounting while also providing direction to company support functions such as IT, HR, and Office/Facilities administration. Anne-Marie believes in the power of teamwork and investing in people to achieve desired outcomes.
Anne-Marie is a mom to four energetic kids who help keep her grounded and filled with joy. She enjoys a good run, lifting weights, and time with her squad over an excellent glass of wine.
