Brief Description: The Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) was established in 2018 to be the focal point of the DoD AI Strategy to accelerate scaling AI and its impact across the DoD. JAIC was integrated into the CDAO in 2022. Working closely with the Services, Combatant Commands, and other Components, CDAO is responsible for accelerating DoD adoption of data, analytics, and AI from the boardroom to the battlefield to enable decision advantage. CDAO established the DRAID Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) in order to provide DoD components with comprehensive data management solutions designed to make data AI-ready. The ultimate goal of this vehicle is to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and planning at government agencies, with a focus on ethical standards, security, and data quality.
Scope of Contract: The DRAID BOA encompasses all aspects of data science and management in relation to AI models and solution development, testing, and operation. This includes the ability to create, acquire, curate, prepare, mange, store, and secure data sets for DoD use. Areas covered under the BOA include:
