
As the VP of Human Resources, Michael Heller is responsible for strategic and operational leadership of HR practices, policies, and programs to align Xcelerate Solutions’ people operations with organizational goals. He partners with business leaders to provide solutions-oriented insight and guidance to drive effectiveness, continuous improvement, employee satisfaction, and mission success.
Michael’s career has been built on over 20 years of experience in strategic HR, talent management, and technology consulting. As an HR executive at Washington Consulting, Digital Management Solutions, and Deltek, Michael led teams to develop innovative human capital management programs and initiatives. Michael also held positions at American Management Systems and Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led strategic talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEI&B), HR partnerships, and philanthropy initiatives. Michael was the founder and CEO of iRevü, a performance management solution designed to help organizations save money, boost productivity, and protect their interests by providing near-immediate, documented feedback to employees.
Michael serves as an executive board member of the Human Resources Leadership Forum. In 2024, Michael was recognized as an “HR Executive to Watch” by WashingtonExec. He holds a master’s degree in HR management from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Connecticut.
Michael resides in Gaithersburg, MD with his wife and daughter.
