Danny Olmes

As CRO, Danny Olmes leads enterprise risk strategy, governance, and operational resilience initiatives across Xcelerate Solutions. He plays a critical role in shaping frameworks that mitigate risk, streamline mergers and acquisitions, protect long-term enterprise value, and drive corporate and operational efficiency. Danny’s deep cross-industry experience and specialized expertise in business and financial management, data analytics, supply chain optimization, and association management empower innovation and support the development of strategic intellectual property.

As Executive Vice President of Government Affairs, Danny leads Xcelerate’s legislative and government affairs strategy across the enterprise. In this role, he engages with members of Congress and their staff, senior government officials and customers, industry partners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and the company’s legal advisors. Danny is responsible for ensuring Xcelerate maintains close alignment with lawmakers, government customers, and key influencers as the company advances its strategic priorities.

As President of the Aviation Security business unit, Danny oversees all operational execution and new business development efforts to support the security, efficiency, and modernization of the nation’s airports. He leads strategy and delivery across TSA programs, with a particular focus on checkpoint operations, technology modernization, and innovative screening models, including work within the Screening Partnership Program (SPP).

Danny works closely with federal stakeholders, airport authorities, and industry partners to integrate advanced screening technologies, operational best practices, and workforce solutions that enhance security outcomes, improve passenger throughput, and elevate the traveler experience. Under his leadership, the Aviation Security business unit supports TSA’s evolving mission by delivering scalable, compliant, and forward-leaning solutions aligned with the future of aviation security.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience across government, commercial, and nonprofit sectors, Danny brings a multifaceted approach to Xcelerate’s operations.

Prior to joining Xcelerate, Danny served as founder and President of Hellen Systems, a cutting-edge technology and infrastructure firm supporting national security and critical infrastructure protection through the development and deployment of Enhanced LORAN as a resilient GPS backup. His leadership at Hellen Systems exemplifies his ability to turn vision into impact in mission-critical environments. Danny also held senior program and financial management roles within leading aerospace and defense firms, where he consistently aligned strategy, operations, and performance.

Danny holds a BS in Biology from Virginia Tech. He is the author of Memoirs of an Ordinary Guy, reflecting his passion for leadership, personal growth, and purposeful living.
