Jean Francois “Boodi” Blanc is Xcelerate’s Executive Vice President of Strategic Growth. Boodi leads Xcelerate’s strategic capture efforts, emphasizing offerings and partnerships to keep the company at the forefront of technology.  Prior to joining Xcelerate, Boodi was a Partner and the Chief Strategy Officer at SDV INTERNATIONAL, where he led corporate growth strategy, market expansion, and client engagement across defense, intelligence, and federal civilian sectors.  Boodi is a results-oriented leader with 25+ years in business growth, M&A, and P&L management for large firms. His leadership helped SDV INTERNATIONAL expand into new markets and secure major federal contracts in digital transformation and cybersecurity.

Boodi also served as Akima’s Chief Growth Officer, where he was responsible for driving strategic initiatives to grow revenue and expand market share across Akima’s portfolio of companies. He oversaw the company’s corporate development efforts, including capture, proposals, business intelligence, and marketing & communications.

Before joining Akima, Boodi led IBM’s U.S. Federal sales efforts for significant and strategic pursuits. His responsibilities included leading the entire deal process, from competitive analysis and win strategy to solutioning, teaming, pricing, and proposal development.

Trained as an industrial and nuclear engineer, Boodi began his career in the shipbuilding/repair industry and held a nuclear engineering position with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard before providing consulting services to many Navy commands. He earned an MBA from the College of William and Mary and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Western Michigan University.
