As the VP of Defense and Diplomacy at Xcelerate Solutions, Matt Parsons manages the operational performance, profit and loss, and strategic delivery of a range of mission-critical programs with the Departments of Defense, State, and Justice, He is instrumental in aligning internal capabilities with evolving client needs, driving high-impact solutions that support national security and diplomatic missions. Under Matt’s leadership, Xcelerate has achieved substantial organic growth, fueled by strong customer relationships and operational excellence.
In addition to his executive responsibilities, Matt leads key initiatives in capture strategy, proposal development, and strategic teaming. He has also successfully guided multiple complex program transitions, helping Xcelerate maintain its reputation as a trusted partner across the federal landscape.
Matt brings more than 20 years of leadership and operational experience across the federal contracting space and a strong track record of driving mission success. Prior to joining Xcelerate, Matt served as a Director at ASRC Federal, where he supported a broad portfolio of government contracts and deepened his expertise in federal service delivery.
Matt holds a BS in Communications from George Mason University and maintains several professional certifications, including PMP, SAFe Agilist, ITIL v3, and HDI-SCD. He currently serves on the School of Business Advisory Board at Shenandoah University.
