In his role as the VP of Xcelerate Solutions’ Law Enforcement (LE) Portfolio, Jim Dufford maintains responsibility for the continued growth and performance of all associated contracts. This diverse portfolio supports the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services Division in Clarksburg, WV; the Information Management Division in Winchester, VA; and the Finance Division in Washington D.C. Jim is heavily involved in ensuring the delivery excellence of Xcelerate’s LE programs and is a major contributor to its growth operations, including business development, strategic capture, and proposal development.
Jim has more than nine years of FBI experience, serving in many key roles across business development, personnel management, and service delivery. Over the last five years, he has been instrumental to Xcelerate’s FBI contract wins and the exponential growth of the LE Portfolio.
Jim retired from the U.S. Navy as a Commander after 20 years of service as a helicopter pilot and staff officer. He holds an MBA from Boston University Metropolitan College and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute. Jim also maintains a PMP certification as well as several agile development credentials, including Certified Scrum Master and SAFe Agilist accreditations.
